I've had my JBL PartyBox 100 for some time and I have been very happy with the product for years.
As of 6 months ago the speaker is stuck in an endless power on loop. Basically at random times the speaker turns itself on (rather annoying during the night). It gets very annoying when the battery is almost fully drained, since it will power on/power off endless untill the full battery is depleted. To cope with this, I either let the battery drain fully or I disconnect the top console (controls all buttons). I have tried doing a power cycle (fully drain the battery and fully charge it again), clearing all bluetooth connections and did a visual inspection of all circuit boards (all seem perfectly fine).
This behaviour does not occure when the speaker is turned off and plugged into the net. The battery itself still performs very well when it is not plugged in (it can still play for many hours without needing to charge it), so I'm suspecting the power supply might be the culprit.
If anyone faced similar issues and was able to resolve them somehow, please share them with me 😄.
