I've got an old Xtreme 2 and looking for upgrade. Considering Boombox 4 and Xtreme 5 but open for other suggestions for outdoor use.

I like balanced sound and bass kicking tight and reasonably low (40Hz and lower better). Xtreme 2 is already loud enough but some dBs more are welcomed. Needs to be waterproof as used also on boat, beach etc. Latency and connectivity is also consideration as might use it with some light dj gear. No need for mics etc. Max eur/usd 500.

Trying to listen A/B both at store but not able to do it in exact same outdoor conditions and loudness levels. I'd appreciate any help with these and other options to consider, specifically on sound quality. I've understood that BB4 is louder but both are well enough for me. X5 might have some latency issues? Is it both on Bluetooth and wired?

I recently got a PartyBox 720, and I love the speaker. I’ve installed the JBL app, and it’s suggesting a firmware update. Some people say you shouldn't update it because the bass gets reduced, while others say it's better to do the update because less bass puts less strain on the drivers, helping the speaker last longer. Which is right? I only use it indoors—mostly at volumes below 30%, though sometimes I turn it up briefly.

Heads up, the BB4 is $100 off again, making it only $50 more than the Xtreme 5. Navy, Black, and Camo colors only!

Here are they:
1st who are manufacturing these? Gg?TL?ND?TT?
2nd will these suffer the same as flip 7 which is facing deep bass gone problems with new firmware?
3rd when is international release happening (like in India)?

Does anyone happen to have a JBL Clip they’re okay with getting rid of? I would like to get one for cheap as I’m working at a summer camp and desperately need one and don’t want to pay still price. If not, thanks anyway!

Hi I have just gotten this speaker new with the factory firmware, it is asking me to update but I can remember people saying it will kill the bass if you update, I listen to hardstyle so there is a lot of bass in the tracks and don’t wanna ruin that, better off staying on factory firmware?

I own a pair of Tour 3 Pros, and while they are quite nice, I am ready to toss them out the window.

My issue is, that they keep connecting while they are in the case, I checked and cleaned the charging sprongs and pads, I made sure they fit nicely into it and all that.

However, nothing seems to work.

While a minor annoyance on the surface, I have a few medical devices linked to my phone, these devices send out alarms if anything is out of the ordinary, and I am quickly in a bad spot if I miss them, because the alarm is send to my earphones in my backpack.

I returned them 2 times because of these issues, and according to the seller (a licensed dealer) they are fine and work as intended.

According to the seller, they were sent off to jbl.

I also don't seem to find a way to manually connect to the Earphones, which I wouldn't mind.

also, deactivating them via the app is quite cumbersome and only works when the case knows they are in it.

I am honestly quite disappointed in them, I had the galaxy buds 2 before and they worked seemlessly and without any hastle.

I expected more from a brand like JBL

do you guys have a solution for this problem apart from getting rid of them?

I’m looking to buy PartyBox 710 or ultimate which should I go with the 710 is £350 and the ultimate is £750 is the price jump worth it ?

Hey guys, I just bought some new JBL headphones (Tune 530C) with a USB-C cable to use on a flight. I later realized that it’s not that easy and, as far as I understand, technically not that simple to find a working USB-C to headphone jack adapter. Anyway, I was wondering if there might be another solution. Some planes already have USB-C ports, but I’m not sure if they actually work with headphones. Would it maybe work to use a USB-A adapter instead? Thanks for your help 🤗

The day after my wedding, we will be inviting about 30-40 out of town family members to the house the next day for some lunch. It’s in September so hopefully will be outside in the backyard which isn’t huge. Just need some background music, but will obviously use it for other things in the future. Was thinking PartyBox Encore Essential 2? Boombox? Xtreme? Charge? I don’t think I need a huge PartyBox.
