How difficult is the V8 to drive for a first time muscle car owner?
Hi,
I currently have a G20 340iXdrive as my daily. I have never been fond of muscle cars but I have always liked the Mustang silhouette. I'm not sure what it is, or just that the coyote sounds phenomenal everytime I hear one on the road. I would be keeping my car and using the stang as a secondary car, living in the great white north made it difficult for me to get one earlier.
This might be a dumb question but, how difficult are these cars to drive? I see so many memes of this car crashing but i'd like to know if there are any tips or cautions other than the basic common sense with handling RWD. My buddy has a 370Z that I love taking out but its only around 300hp so without knowing anything about this car I know it's going to be vastly different.
I'm looking at 2018+ as far as I know that's when the face lifted 6th gen came out and is more reliable than the 2015-2017s and of course V8, and ideally the package with the digital gauge cluster. I would be keeping it stock with some oem+ mods to make it my own. I'd want it manual but I heard both transmissions have flaws so unsure which one is more suitable.
Thanks for reading would appreciate any insight before I move forward.
Update: Appreciate all the help and support from the community, now just have to find the car 😄
