I'll be going to Mauritius for 5 days in mid Oct, with my family (wife + 2 kids - 12.5yr & 5yr). I'm looking for some good redemption options in 5-star beach resorts there, and below are my findings:
Accor - Only 2 resorts on the island, one is in the South and one is in East, rates are starting from 30K INR per night. Stay plus nights aren't available on both. Also, as soon as I choose a kid with age of 12yrs, hotels goes away. I've around 64K accor points with me.
Marriott - Cheapest one is 300K points for 5 nights, revenue rate is roughly 250K INR. I've around 120K Amex point with me.
Hilton - 70k hilton honors points per day
Shangri-La - Great point value, but no partners to transfer
Any suggestions which resort to choose or ditch these names compleltey and book something via Magnus/Infinia's travel portals?
