More wedding dress princess seams help 😭
I’m seriously losing steam on this project…
Any help would be appreciated!
Since my last post, I was able to get rid of the unattractive bumpiness of the top of the seam. However a little bit remained at around the apex of the bust. I thought that just meant I had to reduce the curve there as well, so I did that, but it seemed to exaggerate the bad spot and create pulling lines. I guess reducing the curve made the overall circumference a little too small.
Since the fittings, I’ve noticed that there could be a bit more room in The top of the side front since it’s pulling there. Maybe even take out some length since there is a horizontal fold that seems to be forming.
honestly, I’m at a loss for what to do. i feel like V2 is better than V3 but im not positive. I don’t know how to make the princess seams perfectly smooth and it’s killing me! I’ve clipped and notched them and that doesn’t change anything so it must be a fit thing right? Or is it a drafting issue? fabric or interfacing issue?
V2 (hate how the seams are bumpy but was happy with how waist fit)
V2 side front definitely seems a bit tight here.
