Our trainer took us to Lowe’s for our last training session. This is Archie at 10 months making me as proud as ever.

Irresponsible neighbors with some questionable dogs.

So I’d like to start by saying my boy is very friendly and seemingly doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body… but I suppose I’m thinking proactively here as possible. My issue is that my neighbors have a pair of golden doodles who don’t display the most friendly behavior. To make matters worse they have been digging holes under our border fence and poking their heads under to bark and grow at my dog. Although my boy simply ignores them and is always very friendly towards other dogs, I’m not naïve enough to be aware that he could MAYBE retaliate if the dogs ever broke into my backyard acting crazy. My major concern is that my boy would potentially get into trouble legally if he were to do something that he felt was appropriate in defense. I’m curious how others would view this legally speaking and what measures you would take? Also, I’ve mentioned the holes to them and they have not been keeping up with it.

This was literally 10 months ago!! It’s no wonder people vaguely remember the puppy stage, as it is so short lived!! He’s now 1 year and 95 pounds. 😩

Hey all! This is my boy Archie. This July my sister and brother in law will be getting a yellow Labrador puppy! They lost their last lab quite a few years ago and have finally decided to get another one. I’ve been really excited for them so do so as it will mean a friend for Archie. I think it will be really fun watching them grow up together and becoming besties lol. I would however love some input on things I can do when the new puppy arrives to give them the best chance at getting along and becoming life long buddies. My boy is currently 1 year old and does generally love all other dogs. He can become a bit possessive of his toys with other dogs so that will be something I’ll need to be mindful of. Any other pointer or suggestions on the best way to introduce them and other things to be mindful of in the early stages would be greatly appreciated!! 🤗
