Too much choice
Have been in dire need of a new phone for over a year (RIP my USB C port).
Having managed with my S22+ since launch I am now seriously looking to get a new phone but am having such trouble deciding what I want.
I used to be an iPhone user back in the day, 3Gs, 5 before moving over to Samsung.
I then dabbled with a iPhone X but sold it within a month because the software / customisation I was used to from Android was not there.
What I need from a phone:
- Fluid UI experience with limited lag. (I read color OS can become laggy overtime?) I also hate that you can't remove search bar on Pixels. (I loved Nova launcher before it got sold off).
- Great cameras. Have been looking at Oppo, Apple and Pixel.
- Decent Battery. I don't mind charging my phone these days thanks to fast charging.
From what I gather online, the current crop of Samsung phones are a no go. Cameras are riddled with Ai enhancements / face smoothing etc.
Am looking for opinions on the phones you are currently using and what gripes you may have with them.
