Not everything is your heart
Hello everyone, I was born with Truncus Arteriosus Type 2 and have had many surgeries for that. However the last few years I’ve been extremely tired and had morning headaches every single day, it was attributed to my heart every single time.
Till I went to do some own research and had a sleep exam done. I didn’t have severe apnea, I however did have many arousals through the night, apparently because my lower jaw was receded. That was the cause.
My jaw surgeon said it’s very likely related to my heart, because of skeletal development delays which caused things not to line up properly. The important part is that it was actually fixable.
I’ve recently had jaw surgery, which was quite something especially since I had to be on heart monitoring too which normally isn’t the case, and my sleep has improved a lot and my quality of life too and I feel amazing now.
I warn everyone here don’t let doctors tell you everything you face health issues wise is your heart, it’s not true you can have multiple standalone health issues that deserve treatment. For me it took a long time but I can happily say I feel much much better now.
