It's ok to not use combo in casual game?

Hi, I have a new deck — [[Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy]] and [[Acolyte of Bahamut]]. It’s a Simic Dragon tribal deck with support from instants and sorceries that can be reused from the graveyard. I built it to be more passive and not too strong, with weaker cards like [[Life Goes On]]. And dragons! Because dragons are always cool. But dragons in red are too generic… so Simic xD

But in the end, the deck performs pretty well. Who would have thought that green-blue dragons with good ramp and lots of interaction could be strong?

Anyway, here’s my dilemma: the deck is supposed to be around bracket 2 or lower 3, but somehow it has a 2-card combo in the form of [[Doppelgang]] and any graveyard recursion creature like [[Kairi, the Swirling Sky]]. You need, I think, at least 17 mana to go infinite, but that’s not that hard in Simic.

The thing is, I don’t like winning with combos. I also don’t want to get rid of either of those cards — Doppelgang is one of the main reasons I built a Simic deck, and there aren’t that many good dragons in Simic.

So… is it okay to have the combo in the deck but intentionally not use it as a combo? Like using Kairi’s other mode or just not targeting it at all? Or is that kind of a d*ck move toward the other players? Also with other decks and combos, it is ok to not use the combo if the game is still fun, everybody enjoy it and the pod is not used to combos? It's ok to keep it in hand?
