For those on the State of Texas Dental Choice Plan transitioning to Humana on 9/1, has anyone else *not* received their welcome letter with their new member ID #? I tried calling the help line on 8/3...but they were of little help and said to wait for the letter. They couldn't give me my new ID over the phone, and setting up the online account requires....you guessed it...the ID #. My kid's orthodontist needs it pretty quickly for early September billing and I hate running up to the last minute on stuff like this.

Anyone else tired of this new "real or fake" quiz game? I want to find words!

Whelp...thanks the change in the State of Texas Dental Choice Plan PPO and DHMO from Delta to Humana, I may need to find a new dentist for my family after September 1. None of the ones I have used in my area are in network, sadly. Any suggestions for one accepting new patients, including teens, from North Austin to south side of Round Rock?

I know I can look at the list to find in-network providers, but I'm looking for personal testimony/recommendations for someone who's not going to make up issues to up-bill.
