Has anyone replaced their front differential before? Mine had the mounting bracket sheered off, I believe from misuse or an accident. What kind of fluid do you guys use?

I bought this rust free Oregon Raider at Copart for $1750 delivered. Basically identical to the Dakota. 138k miles. I so far replaced the front bumper assembly from the only parts truck available in the Midwest. Parts are getting hard to find for only a 2006. I am replacing the front differential and suspension components like control arms and ball joints.
