The Mansus is where the forces of eternity hail from, and the first words we get describing it in the whole series remark that it has no walls. "The Songs of Ys", one of the symurgist endings, remarks that Ys has no walls. Could Ys be analogous to the Mansus in some ways? Could it also exist in dreams, but in dreams for the wake's future rather than dreams had while sleeping?
