Ersatzinfinitiv future use

Hallo zusammen!

I’m learning German and I’m a bit confused about constructions like:

“Ich hätte es versuchen können.”

As far as I understand, this normally means something like “I could have tried it” and refers to the past.

But could this structure ever be used as a softer/politer way to talk about the future, similar to how Konjunktiv II is often used for politeness? For example, could someone say something like:

“Ich hätte morgen versuchen können”

to sound more polite or indirect?

Or is “hätte … können” strictly tied to hypothetical past situations, while future politeness would normally use forms like:

“Ich könnte es morgen versuchen”

“Ich würde es morgen versuchen können”

Vielen dank ❤️

Would appreciate explanations from native speakers or advanced learners ❤️
