I REALLY like DWJ and Jorge Corona’s artstyle because of how brutal it can be. The bots and cons look worn and beaten, and the action is just jaw droppingly unforgiving for our crew and baddies! And who better to embody the brutality of the artstyles than Grimlock!

I tried to “recreate” an approximation of both art styles to the best of my abilities! With some variations and my first attempt from last month! The hatching was something fun to learn!

I’ve seen loads of cell shaded figures and statues, but none really gave me the “oh this is a 2D drawing” or the “Rodger Rabbit effect”. This one though? It was amazing!
