Lunch Observation - Local Panera is a Geriatric Home
I remember when Panera first rolled into town in early 2000s. All the office 20 somethings all high tailed it there to get lunch. It was considered cool. The younger girls in the office used to swoon over their salads. Lunch time was packed.
I got lunch today and the location was about 20% occupied. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was old and geriatric.
Not a single person below 60 in sight.
What is going on? It’s clear that nothing is cool about Panera anymore.
If this is what’s left of their customer base, god help them.
