I'm 16 and want more piercings, need advice with mum
I'm sixteen, going on seventeen, and I have two piercings, my second lobe piercing got done when i was 15. I've had multiple arguments with my mum about having more piercings only on my lobes and she is just against it. Every time I ask for some justification as to why I can't she just goes silent or asks not to talk about it, and when I press further she starts crying and says I'm bullying her. To me it just seems like she's guilting me into not asking since she has no real justification as to why I shouldn't. She gets really upset whenever I do things that make me 'look older than I am' like getting my nails done, and I just don't understand. I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to what I can say to her to persuade her without upsetting her. I'm also just trying to understand why she is so opposed to piercings when they don't affect her at all, since she can't tell me herself.
