this kid from my school just won a TOP AWARD at ISEF, has perfect grades/scores + amazing EC's, and he's moping about if MIT will take him. here i am with like decent everything worried about my actual problems.

like atp if MIT doesn't take him it's because he murdered someone or something

idk just surprised bc its acceptance rate is so low and it sends like 90% kids to HPYSM

plus it gives stipend so why does no one talk abt it? is it not as good as it advertises on the website?
