First 1911, and I decided to go with the Tisas B9R DS Carry 4.25” Gen 2! I’ve been pretty hyped for it to come in and finally picked it up today.

Any suggestions on what to look out for? I already know the answer is “train and shoot it,” and that’s exactly what I plan on doing. I’m putting 200–300 rounds through it tomorrow morning. Other than that, any tips, recommendations, or things I should keep an eye on during the break-in period?
