I made Van Gogh's Starry Night for my 30th birthday
The flavor is lemon pound cake with European lemon buttercream as the icing. This cake is a combination of all my favorite things as a celebration. Lemon being my favorite fruit, sunflowers being my favorite flower, and Van Gogh being my favorite artist.
I actually tried to make this cake for my 29th birthday but failed that year so I tried again. I'm so proud of myself for how it came out. Its a reminder to keep trying no matter how long it takes.
