My dad is hoping to go for Hajj in 2027 inshaAllah and I wanted to ask people who’ve already gone (especially from Australia). for advice because the whole process seems really overwhelming 😭
I had a few questions:
• When should I realistically start preparing/applying?
• How hard is it to actually secure a package?
• Around how much did Hajj cost you altogether?
• Which packages are actually worth it and which aren’t?
• Any tips for using Nusuk without losing your mind 😭
• Is it better to go through a group or independently?
• What are things you WISH you knew before going?
• Any scam warnings or things to avoid?
• How much spending money should I bring?
• For people from Australia specifically what was your experience like and how much does it cost?
Also if anyone has general tips, tricks, checklists, timelines, or advice for first-time Hajj pilgrims please share honestly. I’d appreciate literally anything.
