I'm trying to decide between a old 96 Surf/cruiser or a 08 5dr Pajero. OR a slightly higher KM Hilux SR5 05-12 Era, I'm just not a fan of a ute to much.

I want to use this primarily for offroad tracks and overlanding/roadtrips in New Zealand. Not for or rarely for commuting. And not planning on towing anything for the moment.

Plan is to 50mm lift and 33s, front bar, rock sliders and rear bar/remove bunper and tow hook(is that even possible?) And baseplates all round.

Is the rear clearance ever an issue going over technical 4x4 tracks? I dunno if yall grades are the same but mainly sticking to level 3 and below.
