I've grown this avocado from seed this year and I'm really happy with how it's growing. It's about 80cm tall now. Should I cut the new growth from the top now or let it keep growing? Also it looks like the avocado pit is decaying, should I remove it, if so how is this done to not damage the plant? The stem is thickening up nicely, over 1cm in diameter at the base.

We are currently getting quotes to replace a roof on a property we are in the process of purchasing. The existing roof is a bit of a "mismatch" of pitched and flat sections and needs to be replaced ASAP. Since we’re replacing the roof anyway, we want to future-proof it for a full loft conversion in 5–10 years.
We’ve created three design concepts using an app to show builders what we’re aiming for, but as a total novice, I’m unsure if these are structurally sensible.
My questions for you:
Design Reality Check: What do you think of these 3 concepts? Are there obvious red flags regarding the pitch, drainage, or the flat-to-pitched transitions?
Future-Proofing: Since we want to board the space, run plumbing/electric, and eventually add a Juliet balcony, what should we be asking the builders to do now to make that easier later?
The "Staircase" Problem: How much does the future location of the loft stairs need to dictate the roof design today? Should we be finalizing that layout now, or can that wait?
Skylights: Is it worth installing these now, or is it better to leave the roof solid and cut the openings later when we do the full conversion?
Any advice on the design or what I should specifically include in the scope of work for the builders would be greatly appreciated!
