I took 2.5mg for about 4 months, I was taking it every 7-9 days and it was doing an amazing job but towards 4 months I felt it wasn't working as well so moved to 5mg.
On 2.5mg I had hardly any side effects but one that stuck out was an incredibly dry mouth.
When I moved up to 5mg for the first 4 weeks (consistently taking it every 7 days as I since read that it builds up in your system) I had severe nausea for the first 3 days then my appetite didn't feel very surpressed the rest of the week. After week 4 the side effects lessened but random nausea has plagued me ever since plus my appetite returning (albeit a lot less than when I'm on no mounjaro)
Last week I had to go away for 8 days. Not wanting to feel sick while I was away I just took 2.5mg the morning I went away. Immediately had severe dry mouth again for the first day, which never happened on 5mg. No nausea and consistent appetite suppression again. Is it strange that 2.5 seems to work better than 5mg
I read that people going from 2.5 to 5mg is sometimes less effective and 7.5 is the key, but not heard of anyone going down from 5 to 2.5 and having better results 😂 just wondering if anyone has felt similarly
Newish to seaglass hunting. Based in the Highlands normally, but this week I have a rare opportunity to go to Seaham beach and was wondering which beach is best for a quick rummage. I've only got a few hours so really want to make it count.
I've always used acrylic or an acrylic/wool mix. And I recently tried wool for the first time. It's WYP colourlab super wash Aran. Anyway the issue is I tried knitting a jumper. And I blocked the first half and it relaxed and was fine. But the back half I had to do a pre-finish block. Once it dried and I carried on knitting there was an obvious line where I guess the blocked bit is more relaxed than the rest.
Question 1. Is that normal? Do you just pretend it's not there and then the final block the line goes?
Question 2. I decided I didn't like the fit of the jumper it wasn't oversized enough. I've frogged the whole thing and am not going through the painful process of soaking the wool to get the noodley kinks out. When I go to re-knit half the wool will now be "blocked"/relaxed from the water and the rest of the wool that I haven't knitted with will be fresh. Do I need to wash and relax every ball of wool I plan to use so it's the same or run the risk of it knitting up weird?
