Hamish Linklater

sounds more like the name of someone who'd run an island community in 1702 than Richard Warren to me

Which is funny because there was apparently a Richard Warren on the Mayflower

Calling it now, the new season will take place on

The second Friday in November

Which in 2026 (when it will take place) just happens to be Friday the 13th

Before the mid-point of the month, fits an "early November" setting as described by Wyle and others in recent material. Gives us a date that stands out without being a major holiday, and one know for weirdness so that they can sling some odd cases. It's also unique this year in that it's the 3rd of 3 Friday the 13ths, for those superstitious the 3s can magnify the weirdness potential, something an astrology girlie like Santos (or now Whitaker) would likely mention. It's also however late enough to give us decently cold weather as a storyline and setting for the contrast they've expressed a desire to display after such a hot day.

Outside of April 25th it really is the perfect date

For viewers that came to AEW from WWE, what was the biggest surprise to you initially?

So I personally got into AEW when CM Punk started his run, though not because of him, but rather Adam Cole. NXT and 205 Live were all I was paying for with WWE and I'd actually quit paying for the Network before that due to the Saudi shows, but I loved Cole from finding ROH shows online before that and seeing him before I quit with WWE.

I started tuning in here and there just to see what it was about, and the first thing that shocked me was how many piledrivers we'd see. Not in a bad or negative way, but that was the first thing that stood out for me, then I started realizing how many of these faces I knew from Lucha Underground and wished I'd started sooner.
