We have confirmed that the LCK Investigation Committee has concluded its review of the recent matter involving Gen.G League of Legends player Ruler, and determined that no separate sanction will be imposed.
Above all, we deeply apologize to our fans for the worry and difficulty caused over this extended period. The past month has not been an easy time for anyone who cares about this team. We sincerely thank you for staying with us through it all.
Gen.G has respected the Investigation Committee’s process and refrained from making public statements while the facts were being verified. We fully recognize the frustration and concern our fans may have felt during this time. We also take seriously the possibility that our response may not have met our fans’ expectations.
Ruler engaged with the entire investigation in good faith and has stated his commitment to handling all matters related to this case with a sense of responsibility. Gen.G will provide every form of cooperation needed in this regard.
We humbly accept the criticism directed at us in this matter and will work to improve where we fell short. At the same time, as an organization with a responsibility to protect its players, the player’s legal representatives are leading the necessary response to any claims that are not based on verified facts, and Gen.G will actively support those efforts.
