Caedrel asked about the play-in stage at Worlds. This is how it works.

Because HLE won MSI: the 4th seed of the LCK is qualified into the main Swiss stage of Worlds.

The play-ins this year consists of: LCP 3, LEC 3, LCS 3, LPL 4.

Double elim bracket, where in Round 3 there is a qualification match. Where 1 team qualifies to the main bracket.

So worst case scenario for the 2 LEC teams. Could there be 4 teams from the LCK, 3 from LPL 3 (+1 IF LPL 4 wins the play-ins) and 2 teams from LCS and 2 teams from LCP.

Can someone explain the Legend's group situation for playoff seeding.

What are the scenarios for the seedings? HLE, T1, DK, KT.

HLE and T1 are locked for playoffs but they can still go to 3rd or 4th seed is that right?

It’s actually tragic that even with DNS keeping up their undefeated streak in the LCK, they still can't compete for a Worlds spot.

Just how bad were they with Pyosik that even with this insane run with Sharvel right now, they still can't have a chance to secure a Worlds seed? Feels so rough for them, man. Would've been so fun to watch them keep going and see just how far they could actually push it 🙁

So is sharvel one of the best rookies?

Ofcourse they still bottom of the LCK but just the momentum shift that this young rookie brought the whole team is just incredible. And now they won KESPA cup (little fraudelent). But his performance is just really stellar, he might be one of the most sought out players in the off season. What do yall think?
