I’m a FTM and am on day 5 of nighttime sleeping training my 5mo with ferber. He is still regularly waking early in the morning needing to feed but then he struggles to put himself back to sleep and it’s lots of crying and screaming, even more so than regular bedtime.

He wakes up to eat between 5-5:45am, I gave him 3oz. I put him down for bed at 7:30pm. His daily schedule is 2/3/2.5 with a small cat nap before final short playtime before bath (MOC 4-6mo schedule). He is still needing sleep after this feed because if I’m being honest, I’m giving in and holding him to get him back to sleep.

Any advice on how to tackle this?
