Fake Alerts from Blinc
Fake Alerts from Blinc. I bought the year subscription for my doorbell and then got more cams for the back yard and side door. I went to upgrade the subscription and I can only upgrade to another yearly plan. I can't afford it 😭. I can afford the monthly but not a full year on a better plan. So now blinc keeps sending me alerts saying movement in the back yard and says I can't see it bc I don't have a plan for that cam. Little does blinc know, but, my bathroom window looks out into the back yard and several times it has told me after me sitting, doing my thing and seeing the back yard for 20 min that there is movement in the back yard and I can't see the clip bc I don't have the multiple camera plan. I was looking out the window and nothing, not even a butterfly had made any movement. Blinc is sending fake alerts to push me into the plan for more cams. Why would they risk exposure to this scam if I'm willing to pay the monthly? I just don't have the money to pay a year upfront which is less money for them anyway....? Make it make sense Blinc. Seriously, since the free trial of the plan that comes with the other cameras expired and I can only see doorbell clips, the movement caught by the side door and back yard cams has gone from zero to about 10 (unwatchable) clips a day per cam. 😂
