VINTAGE 1970s RED SUEDE & SHEARLING JACKET

What is this worth - and tips for restoring it!

I scored this at goodwill for $20. It's a women's XS or Small (petite) - I'm 5'8 135 lbs and it's fits but is tight on chest - could be worn more comfortably unzipped. Length on arms is fine though.

She is well loved but not terribly stained, lining needs some repair, suede needs some brushing. What do yall think? Here is more info below! I took pics of some areas where she is well worn.

More info: 1970s Canadian-made statement coat. Features a rich, deep brick-red genuine suede shell, thick cozy shearling wool collar, and a quilted rayon lining.

Equipped with a highly collectible, heavy-duty vintage metal ACME ring-pull zipper that works smoothly.

DETAILS: • Brand: unknown, Made in Canada) • Materials: Genuine Leather Shell, 100% Rayon Acetate Lining, Real Sheepskin/Shearling Trim

Backpacking for 6th Graders May 26-28

Hello!

Myself and another teacher are taking a group of kids backpacking next week Tuesday-Thursday. We were planning to go on lower Mount Hood to upper twin Lakes near frog Lakes… But unfortunately, it's looking like there could be a good mix of snow and rain on Tuesday. We are going to keep our eyes on whether because that is our first choice, but I'd love to have some alternatives as well.

I am in need of other spots that would be good for kids. No huge scary, water crossings, good water sources, and not crazy, crazy steep, long mileage. It's looking like the weather might be a little more clear close to Hood River. We are hoping to stay within two hours of Portland. But would be open to going towards Mount Saint Helens. Obviously rain is totally fine, and these kids are pretty tough and in good shape, and we will be well prepared. Just trying to avoid super cold temps/snow to give them a positive first experience!

Anyone have any ideas? Especially in the Mount Hood area or trapper Creek wilderness
