Good day 1, bad days 2 and 3
we’ve been trying the pantless method for our 2yo girl for the long weekend. before the weekend, she’d been excited about the potty. she sit on it without a diaper but had not gone in the potty. she told us and daycare when she pooped and peed, and she was holding it for a long time. day 1 went ok, first pee was an accident, 2nd pee started partially as accident but finished on the potty, 3rd pee was all on the potty, 4th pee started off the potty but she got on very quickly, 5th pee she didn’t make it but got the last bit in there. day 2, refused to go on the potty at all. day 3 so far has been the same refusal. we stopped asking her in the afternoon yesterday. she otherwise happy, but crying when she pees on herself.
should we stop trying? It seems like maybe she isn’t ready
