people keep asking if I'm okay and I don't know how to answer

lost a significant amount over eight months. started getting the "are you eating enough" and "you're not going too far are you" questions about two months ago. these are people who care about me and I know that. but there's something strange about achieving something you worked hard for and having the people closest to you respond with concern instead of celebration. anyone navigated this without it becoming a whole thing

Which programming language should a 1st year start with?

Going to start engineering soon and I’m confused about what language beginners should focus on first.

Some people say C/C++ for logic and DSA, others say Python because it’s easier and useful in AI/dev, while some recommend Java for placements.

If you were starting from 0 again in 1st year, which language would you pick first and why?

Also, what mistakes should beginners avoid while learning coding?

Every choice is a gamble until it’s accomplished

Funny how the same decision people call “risky” today becomes “smart” once it works out.

Maybe every choice is just a gamble until the result gives it meaning.

This widget jokes everytime

I’m trying to understand if there’s any real mathematical meaning behind this or if it’s just a joke.

Ever since the result, I’ve been feeling like everything I worked for just collapsed into one number.

I know logically that life is bigger than one exam, but emotionally it’s hard to accept. There’s pressure from family, comparisons with friends, and this constant self-doubt.

I’m planning to do BTech from a private college now, but I can’t shake off the feeling that I’ve already lost something important.

Does this feeling go away with time? How do you actually rebuild confidence after something like this?
