30 and older, why law school?

Good morning!

I have a question. I am not 30 yet and have always wanted to go into law. That was my original plan and I even had an internship but I decided to stay in tech after graduating. Now I’m not happy with my career and regret not going the law route.

I’m not a hater but I’ve realized that I envy everyone I see graduating from law school. It makes me feel a bit sad.

Anyway, for those who are 30 and over, why are you deciding to go to law school? Do you plan on working for yourself or for someone else? What is your goal?
I’m asking because most of us have already built a career at this point.

I feel like crying

I feel terrible because my anxiety and attention issues have gotten so bad that I can't even finish practice exams without giving up.

What's frustrating is that I can complete sections when I'm not constantly worried about the clock. The timing pressure completely overwhelms me.

Tutors are expensive, and while I know accommodations exist, I'm not convinced that even double time would solve the problem.

The hardest part is that I know I'm capable of being a lawyer. I know I can do the work. But my anxiety has become so intense that it's getting in the way of everything. I don't know how it got this bad, and I don't know what to do anymore. The stress is so overwhelming that I even get headaches.
