A local resident has contacted me to ask that I share a warning for residents of the neighbourhood around Heritage Mountain Park following an incident earlier today.

An older woman approached him and threatened his dog and it escalated into her threatening that she would return and lay poison out to harm dogs to keep them from being near the HME playground.

Hey everyone I just wanted some advice on how formal I should dress for my coffee chat.

For background I am meeting with a senior commercial bank manager.

I had applied for a position at this bank as an associate but then also had cold messaged some people on Linkdlen, and the person I am meeting with tomorrow suggested to meet at our local Starbucks to talk more about the position and the bank.

I am a bit torn on what I should exactly wear. Like should I wear a proper tie and blazer, or is a normal dress shirt, nice pants and shoes enough ?

I’d appreciate any advice.

I see online that they have their own page for the restaurant separate from the food truck. But i am not sure if they have actually opened the restaurant.

Does anyone know ?

I had a question regarding a deferral. Essentially I received a deferral for my Econ 346 exam in spring, and had 3 options to either take it April 30th, July 3rd or August 28th. I couldn't do the one in April because I was out of the country, so I told my professor that July 3rd works (tmr). Unfortunately I have had a medical complication come up this week after taking a blood test and I am required for further testing tomorrow in Vancouver, and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to basically change my date with my prof from July 3rd to end of August.

This is probably a bit of a weird one, and I am going to email my prof, but I am just wondering if anyone has had any sort of experience with this before? Will my prof even allow this ?
