I hear a lot of extreme metal fans saying stuff like "this band isn't heavy at all" and that is directed mostly at nu-metal bands, Slipknot included. As a deathcore and death metal fan, I find some earlier Slipknot songs to be heavier than some death metal songs. For example People=Shit to me sounds heavier than Scourge of Iron by Cannibal Corpse while Necropocalypse by Infant Annihilator sounds heavier than both of the above. I just wanted to know your opinions on this matter.
