Black latex, femme fatale vibes
That coat + latex combo is hard to beat.

That coat + latex combo is hard to beat.
Really into this combination. The black heels and harness details break up the red perfectly. Would you keep it red and black or add another color?
Too much for a restaurant, or would you wear it?
The mask, gloves and boots make the full black latex styling work so well. Which detail stands out most to you?
Packing for a weekend festival or trip with rubber gear is an absolute logistical challenge. Liquid limits for dressing aids, preventing dark garments from staining lighter ones in a cramped bag, and the awkward moment when security opens your suitcase...
How do you safely pack your gear to avoid permanent creases or color bleed on the go?
Have you ever had a hilarious or awkward encounter with airport security explaining what silicone shine or talc is for?
The summer is finally here and I’m looking for some temperature-control advice.
I’m planning to wear a semi-heavy look to an outdoor music festival next month, but the forecast is looking pretty warm. I know latex traps 100% of body heat and doesn't breathe at all, and the thought of overheating or getting lightheaded in a crowd is a bit terrifying.
how do you manage the heat?
I’d love to hear your summer survival guide before I melt out there. Thanks!
Just a quick heads-up for anyone new to the community who is looking to buy their first piece.
I recently ordered a dress from a massive fast-fashion site because the listing explicitly said "101% genuine latex sheet house dress" in the title and description. It was incredibly cheap, so I took a gamble.
Well, it just arrived, and it is absolutely not latex. It’s cheap, smelly polyurethane/vinyl with a fabric backing. It doesn't stretch the same way, it doesn't take shine, and it feels awful against the skin.
If you are looking to buy your first item, please don't fall for these listings. Real latex is almost never sold for $15-$20 on generic marketplaces. Stick to dedicated designers and independent makers!
