Shifting to HR from finance
Hi! I’m currently employed in a fintech company as a data analyst but I realized I really want to pursue HR, specifically talent recruitment. HR positions talaga initial na hinahanap ko as my first job although BSBA finance ang course ko. Medyo mataas kasi yung JO sa current company ko and I really needed a source of income na that time. Yung naunang interview ko naman with another company for an HR position did not push through kasi may mas better daw para sa position kesa sakin but they still proceeded to interview me for a finance role. I need advice for the following po sana:
- Do I have a chance na magshift from finance to HR?
- What facet/s am I suitable for?
- Ideal asking salary for someone with almost 2 years work experience and has some transferrable skills from finance?
- What preparations should I do for this career shift?
I like my company’s benefits but I realized this field and job is not for me. Introvert ako but I love interacting with people and doing presentations. Don’t get me wrong, I like and am comfortable with routinary work but in my current job mostly na nakakainteract ko lang ay documents and numbers 😭 At the end of the day, mentally drained ako after dealing with numbers but I still have a lot of energy since I didn’t get to talk much with others.
Any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated po.
Thank you so much! ✨job offer dust to everyone who’s looking for a better opportunity! ✨
