Curious how many people learned how to save from their parents? Were your parents good with money or terrible with money and how did it shape you? Did your family have generational money at one point down the family tree and lost it all?
Attached are two pics of my living room. I would like to get all new furniture as this is all furniture from family, neighbors and past homes. I feel the space is not cohesive enough and I want a layout that is inviting. Maybe a couch that takes up the whole space with 2 side chairs? Any help with layout, etc is much appreciated!
This is a kohler shower plate with foam backing. Tiles are zellige so a little uneven. Am I fine to leave like this bc of the foam or should I do the upside down U clear caulk?
My worry with caulk is that it will show
I am going over in my head if this tile is supposed to meet at the corners like the image and grout will fill in the gaps. See picture of close up and from a distance. I did not hire the best of the best. This guy was referred to me by a family friend and we saw their work. It wasn’t perfect by any means but I want to make sure this job will be okay at the end or if it needs to be completely removed. (More pictures in comments). Thank you all for the advice.
