I have been reading a lot about exoplanets lately superhabitable worlds. These superhabitable worlds theoretically have conditions for life than Earth. They have climate stability, better stars, more liquid water and so on.
This got me thinking about abiogenesis, which's the actual transition from non-living chemistry to living biology.
If there are planets there with more stable environments or richer chemical baselines why did the specific spark of life happen on Earth.
I mean was Earths chaotic environment, with things like tidal pools and intense volcanism and heavy bombardment actually required to force molecules into complex chains.
Is our understanding of what makes a planet good for life flawed because we are looking at it based on what sustains life rather than what originates life.
What did Earth have that made life start.
I think it is an interesting topic and I want to know more about it.
