Medical bag

I've never flown with my wheelchair but I know you can check a medical bag for free when traveling. If I want to check my front mount and tiller for my Klaxon Twist, a clasped stool for the shower, a package of briefs, meds, and a forearm crutch, can I put clothes around things to pad them or can it only be medical items?

However I will also have thing I want to take off my wheelchair before I gate check it like my pouches, Klaxon Twist, cushion, armrests, and backrest. The twist has its own bag, but do I need to have a separate bag for the other items and would that count against me if I already checked a medical bag?

Do you get special tags for medical bags and will I need to be ready to prove why something is medically relevant to my diagnoses?

Sorry for all the questions. It's been 15 years since I have flown and never with my own personal items. My CP is worse and I want to be independent and enjoy the trip.

Change of dump and hips

I had my wheelchair worked on yesterday. There were a variety of issues and it took over an hour but now is moving so much better. I made the appointment initially because my doctor wanted me to be evaluated for a lateral support due to extensive leaning on my right side. However my backrest is only 12 in and if I had support I would need it just below where my bra hits, so pretty high up. I mentioned that when I had my casters raised with Klaxon Twist in the front I felt that I sat up straighter. We increased my dump to see if this would help. So far I think it has, but it has only been a day. I went from 2 inches of dump to 3. My OT was concerned about it causing hip problems but I'm not clear what I should be worried about. Has anyone had issues with their hips after changing their dump? I have full sensation and am ambulatory with CP if that decreases risk of issues. TIA.

Klaxon Twist help

My twist mount is not sitting right on my wheelchair after I had the wheelchair tech move my wheels in and he put all the weight of the wheelchair on the twist while adjusting the wheels. I adjusted it once by loosing the bolts on either side and twisting the knob at the top of the mount until it was level again. I tightened everything down with a torque wrench but it is out of alignment again. I know I'm not super handy or strong, but I can't get in for repair until June 10. The hardest part for me is twisting the knob. It hurts and takes two hands. Is there anything I can do to improve my dexterity with knobs? Has anyone else had issues with their rear mount?

Also there is a software update, but I keep getting this error message. I've restarted the app and wheel but it doesn't help. I've included pictures to explain what I mean. Has anyone been able to successfully install the updated?

I started therapy last Friday and my therapist wants me to start using my wheelchair part time at work. I currently have a Tilite Z and Klaxton Twist that I use at home when I'm exhausted or feeling weak/more of a fall risk. I also use it on big outtings. I have a folding power chair I leave in my office as it is accessible and my apartment building has stairs. My residents at the retirement home I work at have trialed it in the past too. I really do my best to walk through out the whole work day with my forearm canes or posterior walker as I feel it is good for me but then I come home and do nothing because I'm exhausted. I do notice my feet dragging more and my spasticity is worse with fatigue, so I'm willing to give it a go even though people will think something is wrong with me. Have any other part time wheelchair users had success in similar ways using their chairs for energy conservation?

Do you check the tire pressure and add air while seated in the chair or while out of it? I had a manual pump so I did it out of the chair for leverage. Now I have an electric pump so it is easier. I would think body weight would affect the pressure though. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
