I can get 32gb of lpcamm2 right now for $320 is there a consumer ram company that might enter the market at a lower price within the next two months or should I buy it?

I have a 13 pro preorder and I plan on using it for ee coursework and gaming am I going to have noticably worse performance if I get a gen 4 SSD as opposed to a gen5 SSD?
