I decided that when I started this series I would do it chronologically and read assassin’s blade first, which I’m glad I did because it made me fall in love with the characters so much. However, I still can’t move on from SAM CORTLAND. I just can’t believe he’s dead. I’m on heir of fire and I just keep waiting for her to throw this boring Chaol character to the side and for Sam to be alive from another world opened with the keys. In my eyes, Sam was her soul mate. I don’t get the best chemistry from chaol. I know Sam’s dead. He has to be because they scooped out his eyes. But goddammit there’s no one else for Celaena!! 😭😭 someone help! I’m so checked out of Chaol. I don’t care about this damn guard man
