Found an electrologist and asked if there is a pulling or tweezing sensation after her treatment and she sort of avoided my question.
I found someone near me reasonable price and I asked her what I should expect it to feel like and if there was tweezing. She told me we could talk about it over on the phone but I was busy. I then asked if she could just Confirm my question for the time being and she said to wait so she could explain it more…
The day of our scheduled call I sent her a video of proper electrolysis being done with no pull or resistance after the zap. I said “is this what your treatment looks like?” and she was kinda avoiding the question again saying “oh yes a probe uses electricity to kill the hair and I discuss it in my consultation.”
When I call I am a little nervous on confronting her on the phone 😭 (I know) so I don’t ask but she never chooses to follow up with my questions I sent through text. She says she has free consultations and she’ll explain more there .
I found a client of hers who’s been going three years for chin hairs and says she’s been seeing results…. I asked if she felt a pluck and she said “with less pain than a regular pluck but I still feel it.”
Finally I saw a post from this electrologist where she says “job fulfillment is when your client falls asleep during her upper lip treatment.” ….. it made me nervous because I feel like a true treatment on the upper lip would NOT allow you to sleep unless you’re just sleeping.
A lot of over explaining I’m sorry 😭🤣. Would you still show up to a consultation? I have social anxiety so I am not great with confrontation but we already made an appointment- I just wanted to share the details and see if other people would go.
