I’m dealing with a frustrating issue and would really appreciate any advice.
I received Farming Simulator 25 (PS5 disc version) as a gift from my wife. The game was brand new, sealed, and without any visible damage when unpacked. Unfortunately, I don’t have a receipt, so returning it to the store is not an option.
The problem is that the game does not start properly. After inserting the disc, the PS5 tries to load it for about 2 minutes, then the game launches for 2–3 seconds and immediately crashes without any error message.
I contacted GIANTS Software support, but their responses have been quite irrelevant so far. They have already replied twice with instructions on how to download or activate DLC, even though I clearly explained that the game doesn’t even start and I cannot access anything at all.
My wife paid full price for this game, and since I only buy 2–3 games per year, this is quite frustrating. It’s disappointing that a brand-new game I received simply doesn’t work.
Do I have any chance of getting a replacement or support help without a receipt? Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to deal with the distributor in EU (Slovakia/Czech Republic)?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
