I had two NDEs. I first one as a 9y old (sickness) and a second one as a 14y old (agression). The first was all love, light and bliss, the second was not. What was common is that I had no clue in either case about having part of my soul not reintegrate my body. I only realized way later during my Dark Night of the Soul period following a kundalini awakening. Short story: both times I "reincarnated" when in meditative state, i.e. either my consciousness was with the lost soul finding my body and reentering it (first NDE), or my consciousness was seing both myself meditating and my lost soul (seeing both from an external observer) then back in my body and negotiating for the soul to come back, that it was safe enough now. That made me make major steps towards awakening. I then did some techniques for sould retrieval (Natasha Calestrémé protocols) and got some more from my 2nd NDE.
It took me nearly half a century to get this back! I wish I had know about it earlier...
