Help identify this knife.

Hoping someone can help me identify this old knife that belonged to my grandfather I received it in 2012 after he passed away. I’ve already searched using Google Image Search along with a bunch of knife websites, forums, and old discussion threads online, but nobody seems to know anything about it so far.

There are absolutely no markings, stamps, logos, numbers, or maker’s marks anywhere on the knife. It looks very old and appears to be hand riveted. The construction and wear make me think it may have been handmade or possibly some kind of military piece, but I honestly have no clue.

My grandfather was a Korean War veteran and collected a lot of military memorabilia over the years, so there’s a chance it could be military related. That said, I don’t think he really collected theater knives or tourist pieces, which makes this even more interesting to me.

I’d really appreciate any insight at all, whether it’s possible age, country of origin, military/non-military, handmade/custom, or even just similar examples you’ve seen before. I can add more pictures from any angle if needed.

Thanks in advance, I genuinely appreciate any help you guys can offer.
