This ring was passed to me when my mum passed recently, I knew she loved it dearly as she wore it every single day. I remember her getting it in the late 1990’s shortly after the death of Princess Diana and the design was either a replica or inspired by Dianas ring.

My parents didn’t have a lot of money and the money they did have certainly wasn’t spent frivolously so I don’t imagine the purchase price was much, but based on how well this ring has stood up to also 30 years of daily wear I think the metals at least are decent quality.

I was only about 7-8 when mum got this ring so my child memory may be getting this part wrong, but I believe the ring was purchased from a jeweller that did a limited release of these after Diana’s death. It would be an Australian jeweller I think just based on the time (or possibly from overseas if it was advertised on an infomercial on Aus TV)

Basically I’m just seeking any information from someone who may know the origin/creator/seller of this ring, even the materials if that’s identifiable from the photos?

The only markings on the band is a very deep, dark to read with the naked eye “9k”

Any information at all really, this ring just holds just heavy sentimental value for me now and it kills me I never got to ask mum more about it before I lost her suddenly.

Thank you so much for any help I may get, I appreciate anyone even just getting to the end of this post
