Hello! I purchased this jacket at a vintage fest- it was crowded so I didn’t get to ask the team if they remembered anything about the garment. It was next to a vintage Saks jacket with a similar, but beige, look, though this one has a “Reflections on Designs” tag instead. I have never seen anything like it & find it very interesting, but am not sure how to start dating it.

I assume 80s due to the 100% pure silk, built in shoulder pads, & overall decadence. I’m wondering if people think it could be homemade? Or if you think parts like the appliqué and hooks & buttons were added later? I couldn’t find anything with reverse image searching, so any help on the era or type of jacket this would be defined is would be wonderful!
