how do you find unbiased beauty product reviews?
Im really tired of reading fake reviews that dont actually tell you anything useful im looking for real technical comparisons where someone actually tests products properly. Like for hair tools it would be cool to find someone who tests the same tool on different hair types and shows actual results instead of just saying its good or bad i want to see comparisons of similar products on the same person with different hair textures. The problem is most beauty reviews are either super biased or theyre just someone promoting expensive stuff that probably isnt even that good i want to take better care of my beauty routine but i dont want to waste money on products that are just overhyped
Edit i also want to be clear that a lot of these reviews are probably paid or sponsored by the companies so i need to find reviewers who are actually independent and not getting paid to promote stuff. Does anyone know where to find actual honest reviews that show real testing and comparisons instead of just opinions

finance.yahoo.comDo online reviews even matter anymore when buying stuff
Lately I feel like every product online somehow has 4.8 stars and hundreds of people calling it life changing while the actual comments sound fake as hell. Same thing with review websites and YouTube videos because half of them is affiliate based now so it’s hard to tell if people genuinely like the product or just want commission money. At this point I trust random Reddit comments more than most professional reviews which probably says a lot. Curious how much reviews actually influence people now and what makes something feel trustworthy to you

What are your favorite places for researching products?
Lately I feel like searching for products online has become harder because every review site sound sponsored or copied from somewhere else. I still check reddit and YouTube a lot but sometimes the opinions are completely opposite depending on where you look curious what sites or tools people actually trust now for researching stuff before buying especially for tech or home products
