What’s something you wish the person you’ve lost could have told you, but never did?

We have a bottlebrush tree next to our fence in our front yard, one of the two main branches (the bigger one actually) has been scratching the top of our fence and there’s a big scratching scar on that branch. It makes those unpleasant noise while the branch is scratching the fence, basically whenever it’s windy.
In this case, will it be ok for us to apply to remove the whole tree? Or we can only trim the scratching branch.
Thank you in advance!
