I am originally from Rajasthan, but I currently live in Ahmedabad. I am 19 years old and a Class 12 Commerce student under the GSEB board.

I am exhausted by my parents' backward mindset. They have even chosen a girl for me to marry. Yes, you heard that right.

My parents often beat me for no reason. Recently, they beat me because I refused to go to our shop. The reason I did not go was that I had an exam the next day. If they asked me to help for 1–2 hours, I could manage, but my father expects me to work at the shop for 6–7 hours every day.

I feel trapped and just want to leave home. Please help me.
